My stay at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur was an overall enjoyable experience, well-situated right next to the Pavilion Mall. The luxurious feel of the room caught my attention, but there were a few downsides, like the soft pillows and the average breakfast selection. Despite some hiccups during check-in and check-out, the staff made an effort to be helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Kuala Lumpur.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and luxurious, though the pillows were too soft for my liking. I also noticed some noise from doors closing in the hallways.
Service
8.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, accommodating my early check-in request and assisting with various needs during my stay. However, I experienced some confusion during the check-in process that could have been managed better.
Location
10.0
The location is perfect for shopping and sightseeing, just a short walk from the Petronas Towers and right in the bustling Bukit Bintang. It's easy to navigate with public transport options nearby.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast had a decent variety, but I noticed some items were not fresh or refilled quickly. A wider selection of international cuisines would have enhanced the experience.
Facilities
8.0
Housekeeping was thorough and the gym facilities exceeded expectations, but I was disappointed that the swimming pool was out of service during my stay. I appreciated the small details like the dining trolley in the room.

I had a pleasant stay at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, thanks to its fantastic location right across from Pavilion Mall and its excellent room quality. However, I faced a long check-in process that affected my experience negatively. Overall, it was a nice stay with some room for improvement.

Rooms

The Executive Deluxe room was large, clean, and had a comfortable bathroom with great water pressure. It was decorated beautifully, making it feel special.
Service
6.0
The front desk staff were helpful, but I found the check-in process too lengthy which was a disappointment.
Location
10.0
The location is ideal, being in the heart of the shopping district and within walking distance to many attractions.
Dining

Breakfast at Shook was good but some food was a bit cold. Still, the variety available was impressive.
Facilities

The gym was well-equipped and the room service was flawless. However, the wait for the elevators was frustrating at times.

5.4/10

My stay at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur was largely wonderful, from the central location in Bukit Bintang to the stunningly renovated rooms. However, the breakfast facilities left a lot to be desired, with long waits and mediocre food quality, which felt a bit off for a hotel of this caliber.

Rooms
10.0
The rooms were spacious, clean, and luxurious, with a great view of the city. I loved the high ceilings and modernized decor that still retained a bit of the old charm.
Service
10.0
The staff were consistently friendly and incredibly helpful. From the reception to the housekeeping, everyone greeted me with smiles and went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect. It’s in the heart of Bukit Bintang, right opposite the Pavilion and close to various transport options, so I was never far from great shopping and dining.
Dining
6.0
While room service and the Shook restaurant served decent meals, breakfast was a letdown. The options felt limited, and the quality didn’t meet my expectations for a five-star hotel, especially with the lumpy nasi lemak.
Facilities
8.0
The amenities, including the pool and the executive lounge, were enjoyable, though there were some minor hiccups with cleanliness and limited lounger availability at the pool.

I really enjoyed my stay at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. The location is superb, right in the heart of Bukit Bintang and close to all the shopping malls. The staff were generally helpful, and my room was spacious with a beautiful view. However, the dining experience didn’t quite meet the high expectations I had, especially considering the reputation of the hotel.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious and clean, featuring a cozy layout with comfortable beds and a nice view. It felt fresh and was equipped with all the essentials I needed.
Service
8.0
Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, especially during check-in. There were some moments when communication could have been better, but overall, I felt well taken care of.
Location
10.0
The hotel is in a fantastic spot, just steps away from shopping and dining options. I loved being right in the middle of everything in Bukit Bintang.
Dining
6.0
While I enjoyed the room service and breakfast options, the food at the Shanghai restaurant was quite disappointing and didn’t live up to the expectations I had for a Marriott hotel.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered great facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing spa. I didn't get too much time to explore, though, since I was busy shopping.

6.2/10

During my stay at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, I enjoyed the spacious room and modern amenities, but I was let down by the breakfast options and some service inconsistencies. The staff were often friendly but occasionally lacked the warmth I expected. Despite these hiccups, the central location and luxurious feel made the experience overall enjoyable.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and well-maintained, although the layout was oddly designed with a TV at a fixed angle, which made viewing uncomfortable. However, the cleanliness and luxurious bathroom were definite highlights of my stay.
Service
6.0
While I appreciated the prompt room service and the concierge's assistance, I found that some staff members, especially at check-in, were not as welcoming as I had hoped. There were moments when the service felt a bit chaotic, particularly during peak hours.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, across from a large shopping mall, making it super convenient for exploring the area. I loved being so close to dining and shopping options.
Dining
6.0
Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was underwhelming, with limited and repetitive options. Though the food in-room dining was decent, dining at the Shanghai Restaurant was disappointing and did not match its claimed reputation.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel features a great swimming pool and well-equipped gym. The spa was also a pleasant plus, with professional treatments available on short notice, contributing to a relaxing overall experience.
